My SpeechMike Pro mouse pointer movement is erratic.

How can I completely disable the SpeechMike Pro USB trackball
mouse ?
You can disable the trackball mouse via the Windows "device
manager" tool. Under "Mice and other pointing devices"
locate the entry "HID compliant mouse" and right-click on
it. Choose "disable".
How can I program my SpeechMike Pro RECORD button to activate my
microphone function in Dragon Naturally Speaking ?
You can do so by using the program
to create a new SCM file. Note :It is not
possible to assign the standard plus "+" key for this
feature. You must reassign the microphone enable key within Dragon to
a different key ( i.e. F10 ) and then use this new assignment key to
program the SpeechMike Pro RECORD button.
I would like the sound to play through my PC speaker system. How ?
- Go to the [Contol Panel | Sounds and audio devices | Audio] tab.
- From the drop-down box of the Sound Playback "preferred
device", choose your PC sound card.
- To make the selection permanent, place a check-mark in the box
".. preferred devices only..".

Programming the header and trailer of SpeechMike 6284 & 6294
On the SpeechMike Pro CD V2.2, in the folder "Barcode
Configuration" you will find the BarcodeConfig.exe tool
. Use this tool to program the header and trailer information.
