Like its predecessor the LS-10, the LS-11 features uncompressed 24 bit/96kHz Linear PCM recording capability, to capture the rich, dynamic sound quality of music performances like a studio in your pocket. It has the versatility to record and play back in the WAV, MP3 and WMA formats and can record with its internal microphone or by plugging in an external microphone. The LS-11 features a Voice Synchronize Recording function, which extends recording time by recording only when the microphone senses sound at the pre-set level. When the recording is played back later, avoid listening to dead air because it has only picked up the performance.
